Is there an advantage of buying iTunes Match over manual syncing from iMac to my iPad Pro 2020 (NOT all my music is available in Apple Music Store)? Thank you!

When you subscribe to iTunes Match, your iTunes/ Music library is scanned so that track can be matched or uploaded. Tracks not in Apple Music will be uploaded. You use iCloud music library to sync your music. All music will be available to stream or download as necessary.
