Hi,
Trying to add a checklist within a cell in Apple Notes (MacOS, I'm going to guess that iOS/iPadOS is the same...) - the "checklist" button in the Iribbon bar at the top is greyed out & unclickable. Is there a workaround?

FWIW, it's not possible to create a checklist within a table cell.
Just tried in Notes on Big Sur 11.6 and it worked fine.
Not sure if this is related to your issue.
Profile showing Big Sur 11.5. If that is correct - perhaps the update to 11.5.2 from Apple Apps Store will bring this function back to working.
Notation - from what am seeing - the 11.5.2 is a prerequisite before attempting the Big Sur 11.6 current version will install.
Thanks P.Phillips. I was running 11.5.2, so I upgraded to 11.6 earlier, but the problem remains - no checkboxes within a table cell. Ah well ...
