My iphone suddenly locked and I cannot get it working again.

Locked how? Did you forget the passcode? Does it say it's disabled?
Please explain exactly what is happening and someone may be able to advise.
No. The phone won't accept the passcode. It just says "phone is locked try again in a minute" but if I do, I just get the same message.
Sorry - it says "phone is disabled"
