My husband is the owner of his phone but when it was set up, we used my name as the owner so how can we change that?
My husbands device says it is my IPhone instead of his name. How can this be corrected?

Used your name where exactly?
If you named the itself after yourself. then you can change it in Settings->General->About->Name.
