I have the first generation Apple TV A1218.

That model device is not supported for any online services anymore. It lost its ability to sign in to the iTunes Store in 2018. It lost its only third party service (YouTube) in 2015. It is technically obsolete, with no working services, except non-DRM content (local media) that is already on the device.

Access to the iTunes store was dropped for the model a few years ago. Syncing support was also dropped, and would require having an old version of iTunes to even initiate. Ultimately, that model is now over 14 years old and it would be best to upgrade.
