Hello. It looks like the prices have already dropped, at least on some models. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are already $100 cheaper from where they were when they first released a year ago.
Apple has made no announcement on this subject. I would not expect any such announcement. The market forces will do what they will do.
