nhl app missing

Either the app has (accidentally) been set to hidden, or the service is no longer available for the 3rd generation model.

1. In the first case, you can unhide apps from Settings﹥Main Menu﹥.
2. In the second case, you may need to upgrade to a newer model, or use AirPlay (if supported). Contact NHL Support to inquire about support for your model device. The NHL Live site still lists the 3rd generation as supported.

I just spent the last 2 hours troubleshooting this... Apple TV 3rd Gen, missing NHL live app. It was there last season, but missing now. I've reset, updated to latest updates, everything I can think of... but no NHL Live app (it's not Hidden in the Settings->Main Menu section... just not available to Show/Hide).

NHL Live Website lists 3rd Gen as a compatible device, but apparently it's not. Funny thing is that we were on Chat with NHL Live support who claimed it still is there, and told us to reset/update and make sure to change it from "Hide" to "Show" in the settings! Maybe NHL Live doesn't know that Apple has removed it?!?!

Not sure what steps to take next... how can you have someone from Apple verify this (without paying a support fee)?
