I was billed on a credit card I had lost, and now it’s not letting me add another one to pay for the bill that was charged on the other card

When changing payment methods, you are going to want to add the new method before removing the old method. See Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods for details.


If you are still unable to change your payment method, please reach out to Apple Support by going to Get Support.
