PHPPhotos Error Invalid State

Hello,

My name is Standard (yes, it really is my name) and I'm having issues with opening my photo libraries I have imported into my external hard drive, which is a Seagate hard drive. So I have spent almost 2 hours copying and pasting my photos library into my External Hard Drive. Then, when I try to open the library from my external hard drive, I'm getting the following errors:

Photos was unable to open the library “2021toSept2021.photoslibrary”. (4302)

PHPhotosErrorInvalidState

Can anyone explain why I'm getting such an error? I need an answer to this as soon as possible because I need to have a copy of my photos on my Seagate external drive.

Thanks!

Kind Regards,

Standard S.

Hi,

Please disregard this question as I have found the solution. The reason why for such errors is because I was using an ExFat (I think that's how you spell it) type of external drive, which is incompatible with iOS libraries (it sucks, really, because I had 2TB of storage on that drive).

Thanks!
