Not receiving Verification code

Hi, I'm trying to setup my New MacBook. While signing into iTunes or App Store in Mac Book, it is asking for Apple ID, Password+Verification Code.


My other device which I'm using is my iPhone with the same apple ID. In this phone, If I go to Settings --> Apple ID --> Password & Security --> Get verification Code, Nothing happens.


No Verification code is received. I tried logging in through a browser. Even then, when waiting for verification code, I'm only able to get verification code through SMS Text. Notification based verification code is never coming. Which is ok, if I'm logging in through browser as I have the option to choose the way I get the verification code.


But to login to MacBook, how do I get a verification code as I'm not receiving it on my iPhone?

- Use a Trusted Device: Mac, iPhone, iPad, Watch. Code is either generated automatically or manually using Settings on the Trusted Device.

- Text or phone call to a trusted telephone number (also landlines).

- Get a code from an Account Recovery Contact --> https://support.apple.com/HT212513


If you can still log into your account, verify your trusted device and number information is current. Add another number if you can and see if it still cannot receive a code.
