Hi,

Can anyone advise if it is possible to use an eSim only in an iPhone 11? With the addition of a separate Sim from my work phone on occasion?

That is how they are designed, yes.

[Above answer is correct outside of China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao. These three regions use dual SIM, not eSIM.]
