password not accepted

why is my apple id password not accepter on my imac but is on ipad

  • Go to your iPad,
  • log in,
  • go to settings,
  • click on your name at the top of the menu,
  • scroll down to the bottom of the list and see if you iMac is in the list of your apple devices,


Remember you log into your devices with a different password to your Apple ID password, also your different devices can each have a different password.
