How can I use a Bluetooth mic whilst using iPad to do an airplay presentation

Hi. I use my iPad to do PowerPoint presentations via airplay to an Apple TV. Sometimes people can’t hear me so I’d like to pair a Bluetooth microphone to the iPad and be able to send audio from the mic over airplay to the Apple TV. Is this even possible. I have tried pairing the mic and it record in memos but there’s no audio if I were to airplay something to the Apple TV and talk. Does anyone else have a better suggestion to send the microphone audio to the Apple TV? I have tried pairing it directly to the the ATV but it doesn’t seem to cast any audio from the mic.
