Fitness+ workout have black screen, no video

Since upgrading my iPhone, watch and Apple TV to the new releases I’m having problems.


I can start a workout using the Fitness+ app on the Apple TV. It launches and I can hear the audio and see the rings, music info, burn bar etc but the video isn’t working so other than the data that is overlaid - the screen is black.


I did a whole workout listening to the audio. Not ideal.


Anyone else or just me?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that after updating tvOS, Fitness+ workouts only play audio.


Try force quitting the Fitness+ app on your Apple TV before testing again: Switch quickly between Apple TV apps - Apple Support
