When I went to preferences to upgrade/update, I had the choice to either update or upgrade. I decided to update first for the security then I was going to upgrade. The update completed, but now when I go to preferences to upgrade to IOS 15, it just indicates that I am up to date, but gives me no option to upgrade. Question, how to upgrade now if I don't have the option in preferences?

Oops, I was probably confused. I upgraded my iphone and ipad, but thought IOS 15 was available for MacBook Pro. Thanks for the answer and the help.
