Upgrade to IOS 15 on MacBook Pro

When I went to preferences to upgrade/update, I had the choice to either update or upgrade. I decided to update first for the security then I was going to upgrade. The update completed, but now when I go to preferences to upgrade to IOS 15, it just indicates that I am up to date, but gives me no option to upgrade. Question, how to upgrade now if I don't have the option in preferences?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

iOS is the operating system for iPhones and iPods Touch, so I'm assuming you're talking about some of them, right?

Check OS version on your iPhone after the procedure Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support. If it's iOS 15, you're good to go.

Since you're posting in MacBook Pro area, is there any question about this device too?
