I've followed all the step in the above article, and nothing works. I still just get an error downloading the update with no other info.

The final suggestion in the link above is to use finder on my mac to update, but finder only wants to install iOS 15. I don't want to upgrade to a new major release only days old. How do I get finder to offer to install iOS 14.8?

my iphone auto-restarted 4 days ago and since that moment it lost communication with my cellular data network. it do not allow to make or receive any calls. it says that the error is due to an IOS update error. I have tried to install the 14.8 update several times, using different wifi networks and location. it do not allow me to delete the 14.8 downloaded. And the 15 update is not presented for me to try that one. NOthing works! Please advide, i need my iphone... why block my iphone use?
