Create forms in Pages?

Hello,

are there any news concerning the creation of fillable forms in Pages to export them as PDF?

Word can do this, but it is pretty hard to create a good looking form there. Maybe this is or would be a great opportunity for Apple Pages, as it (again) targets the creativity of the 'normal' user, who doesn't want to create a PDF form inside the Adobe Suite?

As Pages is not a Word clone, it does not contain a forms designer. If you want to design forms, use the current version of MS Word, or the free LibreOffice Suite which as an Office clone, contains a Form design tool in its Writer application. Chapter 18 in the PDF Writer guide discusses form design at great length.

As the Pages product team does not participate here, and only fellow users or Apple community specialists respond, there is no news about Pages product team planning. Adding form creation in Pages is a professional feature, and not one Apple is likely to pursue in a free application, or for their intended audience.

There are several non-subscription, paid PDF Editors that would allow you to add forms to a PDF exported from Pages.
