Hello. The latest version of iOS the iPhone 6 Plus can run is iOS 12.5.4. If you would like to run a newer version of iOS, such as iOS 15, you will need to upgrade your iPhone.

If it's on iOS 12.5.4 then it is already up to date. If you want iOS 15 software, you need to buy new iPhone.

The iPhone 6 Plus cannot be updated beyond iOS 12.x.x.x. It lacks the components to run newer software.

It does not have the required hardware (insufficient ram).
