How do I convert the photos from my Apple SE in .HEIC format to .PDF format

How do I convert the photos from my Apple SE in .HEIC format to .PDF format

Is it possible to (permanently) change the format for photos taken with my iphone from heic to jpg ? I find that these photos are only viewable on iphones. Thank you.

Go to Settings/Camera and change Format to Most Compatible. This will switch all images to JPG. They will take more storage and have lower resolution than HEIC, however.
Actually, HEIC should be recognized by any software updated in the past 3 years.
PDF is not a standard format for photos. You will have to open the image in an app that can save it as PDF. Preview on a Mac can do that.
