I have an iMac from late 2013. I have upgraded to OS Catalina 10.15.7, but want to use Garage Band like I used to. is there a way to download and install older versions of Garage Band to work with Catalina?
Have you ever 'purchased' GarageBand before using your Apple ID.
If so open the App Store click Store in the menubar and Sign In.
Then click on Store a gain and select View My Account.
This will show you all the apps you have purchased on the App Store.
If GarageBand appears you will be able to download it.
You will be asked "Download an older version of GarageBand."
It will say the current version of GarageBand requires mac OS 11.0 etc.
Just click the Download button, this will download the Catalina version of GarageBand.
