Changing region and Apple Pay

I have recently moved USA>UK and wanted to change my region to download certain apps that aren’t available for the USA region. If I change my region to UK, will my Apple Pay and US bank cards on my phone be removed or blocked? If removed, will I have issues reentering my US card info in the UK? That’s my only form of payment for anything here at the moment (I don’t have my cards physically) but I want to download an app so I can start setting up a UK bank account (which I can only apply through the app). Thanks.

We understand you would like to change your Apple ID country/region after recently moving. We’d like to help however we can.

As long as your payment methods are still valid to be used in the UK, they should not be removed from your device after changing your Apple ID country.
