Hello swapnakasula,

Managing the CPU of a kernel_task is important, and you’ve come to a great place for help! The related article If kernel_task is using a large percentage of your Mac CPU is a great starting point. As stated in the article the kernel_task responds to conditions that cause your CPU to become too hot.

You may benefit from Activity monitor to help determine if another app may be contributing to a larger CPU usage. This can also influence the temperature of your Mac which would explain the increase in usage for the kernel_task. More information about using Activity Monitor can be found in the following linked user guide.

Take care!
