Apple Mail keeps crashing when deleting emails

I can't remember when this started, whether with Big Sur or earlier, but Mail frequently crashes when I am deleting emails. It may let me delete several before the crash or, as just now, it crashed after the first delete.

I'm afraid that I do not understand all the technical information given below, but I'm hoping that someone can help me debug this. It only happens on my iMac, not on my iPhone or iPad.

iMac Retina 5K, 27" 2017, 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 64 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 580 8 GB running under macOS Big Sur version 11.6 (20G165) with Apple Mail v14.0 (3654.120.0.1.13).

I've sent the Crash Report (see Additional Text above)) to Apple as I have with all previous Crashes in the hope that a fix will come out but, thus far, noting.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

If you still have issues, see if they also occur in safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

It may also be beneficial to test in a newly created unmodified test Administrator user: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support

If you still have issues after going through the articles above, since the Mail app is part of the operating system, it may be beneficial to reinstall macOS. Before this step, you should make a backup with Time Machine: Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support

Once your data is backed up to an external drive with Time Machine, you can reinstall macOS using this article: How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support
