iPadOS 15 - disable top Split View buttons

Is there any way to disable the three little buttons on the top that open up the tiny split view menu? While not horrible, its very inconvenient on apps that have small buttons on the top since it prioritizes opening the small menu instead.

Split view button Hi I have an iPad 7th gen, and I want to get rid of the 3 dots on top of my screen used for split view and I don’t know how to. Ive looked through my settings and no luck. Its such a bother for me whenever im on an app where i have to change my highlighter colour, the options are on top of the screen as well and directly aligned with the 3 dots. How do i disable it or get rid of it? or even change its position?

How do I get rid of the screen option buttons at the top of the iPad screen I want the screen options at the top of my screen removed.
