ipad external keypad, hitting space bar deletes draft doc in Word

Ipad Air with newly installed IpadOs15, using a Logitech K380 keyboard, fired up Microsoft Word for the first time, each time one hits the space bar to move to the next word, it wants to delete draft of the document. The on screen keyboard works fine. Infuriating. Tried playing around with the keyboard settings but no joy. Any ideas?

Thanks Tom. Solved the issue by going into Settings/Accessability/Keyboard/Full Keyboard Access/Commands, and in the 'Basic' setting, saw "Activate' was linked to the space bar. Switched that off and the space bar now works as it should, but looks as if the 'save file' and 'delete draft' commands dont work , but can do that physically on the screen if push comes to shove.
