I have recently downloaded iOS 15 and my focus share status is not showing but other people who have iOS 15 that I am messaging, I can see their updated focus status at the bottom of our chat.
is this just a current bug with the new iOS update or is there a setting that I have wrong??? (I have all settings for the focus turned on also all of the focus update status is turned on in personal chat settings)

Check if Focus is enabled in Settings > Messages. If this is off, this may be why it is not appearing.

10/31/2021 Issue persist to many of us with endless threads all over and some dilution of “focus” on the issue due to the unrelated “focus status not synchronizing across multiple devices” where the root cause seems to be “user error” really, such as phone in airplane mode without Wi-Fi so cannot possibly sync to anything, or one of the devices logged in with another Apple ID or none at all.
How do we escalate this so actual developers get to put in a ticket in whatever bug tracking system iOS Apple OS developers use? Or at least link here to wherever this is actually getting addressed and tracked for a future patch/fix so we know when to try to use the feature again?

It is on and I restarted my phone while it was toggled off, to then toggle it back on.
I have the same problem ... All the Focus Status' are toggled on, specifically in messages. None of my friends see the "James has notifications silenced" message in our conversations.....
i have all of that on , and my brother still cannot see or anybody see “Jacquline has notifications silent” please help ..
