Hello. You can get your trade-in value directly from Apple by going to the page here. After visiting this page, scroll down to "Select your device to get a trade-in estimate without a purchase" and select your device (Computer). The website will then prompt you for the rest of the information needed to give you a trade-in quote.

You are much better off if you can sell it yourself; someone may be interested. Check ebay for current offerings to see what the prices are.
A 2010 has zero trade-in value, as mentioned sell on E-Bay, Craigs list, your local paper or even Marketplace. It's worth about $100-$200, you might get a few $$ more.
