If I buy a phone with my daughter's phone number, can i take that phone to put another sim card /my number?

In most countries you just swap SIMS but in USA with some providers you have to contact them.

If the phone is locked to a single provider you need to use the same provider or have that provider unlock the phone.


After swapping SIMS, Turn off iMessage and Facetime, restart the phone, then turn them back on.
