I need to change the date and time on my Mac laptop. In order to unlock the preferences I need a user and login… I don’t have one??

I don’t have a user name and password to be able to unlock the date and time preferences. How do I make one?

You don't. If you don't have a userid and password, its not your Mac.

Then your fiancé can use their Userid and password to get Admin access and use:

system preferences > Date&Time ...

...to change the clock.
