“Hackers are Watching You” pop up on iPhone

Hello, I just received a pop-up on my iPhone 8 warning me that hackers are watching me and that I need to download an app to fix this.

I swiped away and closed this pop up.

But what should I do to prevent this phishing in the future?

Hello Stedman,

thank you for replying to my question so quickly.

How can I know if a site is bogus. such as when I Google something and tap on a website?

I have my phone settings enabled to warn me of fraudulent websites, but this happened anyhow. So, what to do?

Thank you
