Iphone13 max pro auto punctuation

I purchased a new iPhone 13 max pro yesterday and the auto punctuation doesn’t work and it’s driving me crazy! I have rebooted my phone, turned off all the applications, turned the phone off the. Turned the phone on again and it still won’t work so it’s obviously a fault with the phone? Anyone have any ideas when/ how to fix this. There are now at fix this or how long it’s going to be before it’s fixed
