Safari Version 15.0

I installed the latest update to Safari (Version 15.0) & now when I open Safari, my bookmarks in the sidebar are just an icon labeled Bookmarks & my list of bookmarks do not show. I have to click on the icon to open my bookmark list, then when I close & reopen Safari, the icon is back instead of my bookmark list which I prefer to keep open in the sidebar at all times. How do I keep my bookmarks open which now is just another frustration to have to click on the bookmarks every time I reopen Safari. Thanks, Lud14

There have recently been many reports of new problems with Safari. It seems that the recent Safari update has issues. Word has it that Apple knows about the problems and is working on a fix. I assume that it will be released fairly soon. In the meantime, if necessary you can use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome and they should work for you. Also, there are reports that reinstalling Safari and restarting the computer has resolved issues.
