Thank you very much! I really didn’t want to do this unless it worked.

However for those who may see this, I didn’t have to delete the Apple Card. I was about to, but saw a prompt to “Initiate the card” or something similar (I was on a WebEx call so don’t remember exact verbiage.) Clearly it hadn’t completely been accepted into Wallet. I completed and the next step was to request a card.

Really strange as it showed up in Wallet.

Yep, and there is no "tap Get a Titanium Apple Card." offered as in my subject.

So, what would cause this?

If I have to call Apple Support, I'll just cough up using Wallet and Apple Card, it's just not worth my time. First Apple device, so no patience for messing about. I know Android inside and out, the Apple experience was supposed to be seamless. Already discovered a nasty bug with Apple Store that Apple claims to be working on, and that was my first day on iOS15 with the Pro Max13 yesterday.

And sorry to sound so honked off, but the purchase experience trying to use the Apple Card was so horrible, I nearly gave up and went with the new Pixel instead. Couldn't use it, wasted 30 mins with an Apple Support person and paid using another debit card. I have addressed this with Apple execs (they are a customer of mine) and learned that my experience was not unique.

As I told them, "you've had all of these offerings for several years, why are you dropping the ball now?" No useful answer was provided. It seems that the teams responsible for their entire payment offerings needs someone new from outside to shake things up. I hope to see new names at Apple soon.
