Selling My iPhone8

It appears that the credit I can get from companies like AT&T or Amazon is much less than the "street value". Can someone recommend a reliable source for selling an iPhone for cash?

Thank you so much.

For profit resellers will always offer less than street value. They have to build in their profit margin when they make you an offer on something they plan to resell.

Selling it for cash is no different than selling any personal item online. Don’t ship until you get the money. Ideally, meet the buyer in a public spot (or monitored exchange site like many police stations offer) and then get cash before handing it over.

The source you list it on really has nothing to do with reliably or safely selling it. That part is entirely up to you and how you chose to interact with possible buyers. Don’t take checks. Only accept cash or use a trustworthy payment exchange source like Zelle, Apple Pay, PayPal or somewhere you can check the money has actually been transferred to your account. And always get paid, in full, before exchanging your property with the buyer.

And make sure you prepare it properly for someone else to setup and use -> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
