My watch hasnt had an update since beginning of August

I installed the watch os beta on my Apple Watch series 5, I think it was on beta 4 at this point. Automatic updates are off and I haven’t had an update since then, I’m still in beta despite the stable release being out, I check for updates everyday when I charge yet nothing. How can I fix this?

Apple Watch Series 5, watchOS 8

You have to remove your beta profile;

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then go to General > Profiles. Tap the beta profile that you want to remove, then tap Delete Profile.

Is that the beta version of WatchOS8?.

You could do this and then see if you can update;

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Then;

Set up and pair your Apple Watch with iPhone

It seems you need to take this route as this will return your watch to factory settings but at least you should end up with a workable watch.

Good luck.
