I have an Apple watch 6 but I can not get it to work or set up

I factory reset the watch thinking that it would help it but did not take any of the information down so know it wont let me do anything with it it wants me to update it but i dont know what else to do with the watch

I can't update my Apple Watch Series 5 because it has been reset Hi guys, I bought a second hand Apple Watch series 5 that arrived with the previous owners details still saved. Did a reset to wipe that information and pair it with my phone. But when I tired to pair it says that it needs an update and trying to do it through the phone continually fails. I can’t do it through the watch because it has been reset so the settings aren’t available until it’s paired. Does anyone have a fix for this? Many thanks! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple Watch will not do initial set up I have gone through all the steps but one I try to pair in initial set-up it says that watch software is out of date. I have done all of the resets and everything and nothing will work. Starting to get very frustrated
