MacBook Air 2020 M1 version 11.4

I have MacBook Air 2020 M1 , and it came in with version 11.4 , and I have seen a lot of people complaining about the new version update 11.6 that would have a lot of issues and problems. I just got my new laptop this week and I’m afraid that if it will ruin it??? Does anyone have updated from 11.4 to 11.6 and had no problem?

None here on both MBA M1 and Mac Mini M1.

Now, be sure the get the last Full Installer of Big Sur offered on the Apple Apps Store. Just verified , still offering the 11.5.2. From what have seen, this 11.5.2 Must Be Installed before attempting the 11.6.

Otherwise, attempting to go 11.4 directly to 11.6 will fail and fail again.

Good Apple Practices Before doing any updates is >>> The Below may appear as Over Kill but has always keep my computers working if something goes wrong or sideways.

Do you have a Rescue Plan In-Place. This comprises having 3 Backups using 2 methods and 1 Off Site incase of Theft, Loss or Natural Disasters. A Time Machine Backup  is very useful and can be used to Revert to Previous Working macOS. For addition purposes - two Tested Bootable Clones each to separate external drives. This is insurance incase the upgrades goes sideways. At least one Tested Clone and / or Time Machine Backup should be Off - Site
