Messages to non iphone devices from my Messages app on my computer were working for a while. Now they are not appearing or being delivered. How can I fix this?

I read that first ...and followed all the directions. I had to reset my Apple password a short time ago, and I think that might be it. When I can reboot I'll try it. It looks like my outgoing messages are going through ....but, their replies are not showing up on my Mac. I'll let you know if a reboot works.

Looked good until I realized that my Android friends were receiving my messages from iMessage on my Mac ....but, their replies are only showing up on my phone. This workable since it is the typing that is important for me. I will fiddle with it a bit more and let you know the results.
