Spotify.com always on

Recently I’ve been seeing my screen time skyrocket and when I have gone to check it seems that Spotify is on all day. However, it is not the app that is running but just “spotify.com”. I’m really confused as I do not use Spotify on the web so I don’t know what this could be from and it also doesn’t drain any battery so it’s not really an issue but just curious as to why this is happening.

Any help would be appreciated

We'd first recommend making sure the software on your iPhone is completely up to date with the latest version. The support article below will walk you through the steps for that process.


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch 


Although it is showing in Screen Time as Spotify.com and not the app itself, it still may be helpful to try deleting and re-downloading the application onto your device as they may somehow be linked in the background. If you continue to notice the same behavior on your device, we'd suggest reaching out to Apple Support so they can look into this with you further.
