Thin Black Lines across my Apple Watch - distorted display

After a recent hike when my power was drained from my Apple Watch 2 I recharged to find some Thin Black Lines across my Apple Watch which completely distorts the display and makes the tech look like a ZX Spectrum retro computer.

Are there any quick fixes to this as I can't seem to find any help online or in communities?
