Apple Watch vocalisations

Since updating to WatchOS 8, my Apple Watch vocalises certain goals during a workout: like 'Exercise Goal Reached', 'One Kilometre'. It never did this under the previous WatchOS, I don't have Siri enabled on any of my devices thus I do not expect (or like to) hear unasked for feedback. Kindly point me in the direction to disable this function.
