How do I know if my AppleCare+ has Theft and Loss protection?

Go to Settings > General > About and under Serial Number it will show a space with what coverage you have. If you have Theft and Loss it will say, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss. And if you tap on it you will see when it expires.
