I have 2 charges for Apple TV on my Discover bill. I did not request a subscription to Apple TV

Bank/CC statements do not specify the purchased product, just the merchant.

To see what the charge was for, have a look at your purchase history. That will detail every charge to your Apple ID account.

If there are subscriptions listed for your Apple ID account, then you would have initiated that, possibly as a trial.
