You can find out what version of iOS you are running by heading to Settings > General > About
You will now have the option to upgrade to either iPAD OS 14.8 or 15.0, I would personally recommend upgrading to IOS 15 which is the latest version of iOS and comes with a wide range of cool new features.
You will still be able to upgrade to either 14.8 or 15.0, regardless of which version of iOS 14 you are currently using.
Genuine updates released by Apple are of high security importance and should always be downloaded as soon as possible.
