How to copy web page URL in Safari 15.0 on a Mac

I am unable to copy the URL since upgrading to Safari 15.0 on a Mac, this was not an issue before 15.0, I could just highlight the URL and press command-C. Now this does not work any more and I am unable to highlight the URL or copy it directly in any way known to me from before.

No issue with this on iOS.

To get a copy of the URL on my Mac I have to initiate an email sending the URL, then copy the URL from there and delete the email. Really annoying and time consuming.

Is there an easier way to copy a URL in Safari 15.0 on a Mac, or do I just have to go use Firefox, Chrome, etc for this?

Thanks.
