I am seeing the same message as the user above. However, I have 2TB of iCloud storage and was able to complete a manual back up. The message still appears after backing up. It’s not clickable and does not go away even with a hard restart.

I am also having this issue. Before I was able to click the notification and clear it. But now I can't even click on the notification. I did notice when I updated to IOS 15 I already had that notification.

I have and intel MacBook Pro OSX 11.6 and an M1 MacBook Pro OSX 11.6 with an iPhone 7 iOS15. When I try to back up my iPhone to the M1 machine it syncs in a few minutes. When I try to back it up with the Intel machine I get an error:

Could not back up the iphone because a session could not be started

Any Suggestions?
