Pro Max 13 is not working with Car Play

My iphone 11 Pro Max worked great with my Honda CRV Car Play, now I have the 13 Pro Max and Car Play works maybe if it decides to (for only a minute or two or it doesn't work at all). When I can get it to work, it says that Sirius from my phone will not connect. .... although it worked fine with my 11 Pro Max. I have tried 5 different lightning cables, all apple cables 3 of them brand new. This is very frustrating. I have researched this online and I keep running into the same answers..this is a known problem between Honda and Apple...any suggestions?

Sirius on Car Play has had a problem with iOS 15. I don't think it's really the phone itself. Do other parts of Car Play work okay? For me I have to start Sirius on the phone and then connect to Car Play. Everything else seems to work okay.

Car play decides on it's own if it wants to work or not. I do have Sirius working on my phone before I connect to Car Play and once I connect to Car Play and it decides to work, I keep getting an error message that say Sirius is unable to connect. Try again. It doesn't matter if Sirius is running or not running before I connect to Car Play. Car Play will say "Car Play is unsupported"

My iPhone Pro Max 13 was doing this, whereas, my iPhone Pro Max 12 was not. My apps like Spotify would start up but as soon as I tried to play a song, it would cause CarPlay to shut off. Same thing was happening with Waze. I turned off the EQ as suggested, and it started working. I hope this is stable. Very weird as to why honestly. I tried different cables thinking it was that, but I narrowed it down to the new phone.

Somewhere I read to toggle off EQ and I did and it is working now...I have no idea why but it is working, for how long, I don't know.

Just wanted to say turning off the EQ worked for me also. I had it on the Late night setting. Turning it off lets me listen to XM, YouTube music, etc.

I have got the same error, I connected my iPhone 13 Pro Max and apple carplay is unsupported. How do you solve this issue?

Car play won’t work on my new 13 pro. I have a 2019 Toyota. It worked fine with my old I phone. What’s up the phone cost way too much to loose features.
