iPhone 13 Pro no magsafe animation

Hi, I have the same issue too. When I checked on Magsafe charger on the Apple. Store, it has the below line.

• The magnetic alignment experience only applies to iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models.

I suspect that the current magsafe charger animation/magnetic alignment only works for iPhone 12 lines up.

Don’t bother wasting your time on this forum. They are clueless as to what the problem is. 1100.00 dollar phone and they are all shoulder “🤷🏻‍♂️“ just have them replace it.. I see all these poor people complaining about the silicone case on Amazon meanwhile the cases are fine

Hi AppleJen77 - I’m having the exact same issue as remcodegast. Have read through your conversation, to be honest, I agree with remcodegast in terms of thinking this issue could be a software bug.

At the moment apple has no solution for this issue. Can you please create an issue ticket upon this case?

I’ve just had the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pro. I have just spent days and money buying several different USB cables and cigarette lighter adapters for my in-car MagSafe holder/charger but unable to get the animation working so assumed one of those components failed to deliver the necessary power requirements despite advertising they do. Fast forward a week and my son docks his iPhone 12 Pro (with generic silicon case) and immediately gets the animation, much to my surprise/annoyance. Repeat with my daughters 12 Pro and my girlfriend 12 Pro Max (with genuine MagSafe case). All produce the animation. Try again with my 13 Pro (with no case and with MagSafe case)… nothing.

Please fix this Apple

There are apps that allow you to use Shortcuts and get tons of other animations. Check online and you’ll find lots of apps that allow you to choose a custom animation

Yup. I have the same problem! What I noticed is , the animation pops up on the 12 series but is missing from the 13 series … which really sucks.
