Why, since the update to ios last week do have have a persistant javascript problem with so many websites? Absolutely working fine before the apple update, now, i have to turn off and on javascript to get anywhere. What is the longterm solution. D

Is this only happening with specific websites? Or all websites you're accessing?
What happens when you try to access a website? Is the page blank or are only certain parts of the website loading?

Dear Chris. My Problems with Safari are on MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) running Catalina. Yes, i have restarted and no use still same problems, You will know that i am not alone with this specific problem after the last update.
I would appreciate some help as i cannot access my bank website!! David

Try out these suggestions in If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected.
Start up your Mac in safe mode and test to see if this issue continues. Here's How to use safe mode on your Mac .
Do you have another user account on your Mac? It would help to test this by logging out and logging into another user account. You can create a test user account for testing purposes by opening System Preferences > click Users & Groups > click the lock icon, enter an administrator name and password > click the (+) button below the list of users > complete all fields > click Create Account.

Desr Barberlives, thank you for trying to help. I have gone through all of the steps you have suggested. None work. I have accessed websites using Brave Browser and they work fine. I will say again, this problem occured immediately after upgrading to ios15. It is a javascript / safari related problem. It has not affected anything but Safari.
I would appreciate anybody with suggestions. Are you listening Apple?

Dear Chris, I am on MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) running Catalina. This issue is to do with my Macbook and not my iphone. I understand you may wish to help but reading what has gone on before in this discussion would be very helpful to me.
The issue is with Safari 15 and javascript and certain websites ( including my bank). This issue occured immediately after the update to ois15.
Anyone out there with any suggestions that i have not tried. Turning everything off and on, rebooting, safe mode, the usual.
I have tried the problematic websites on my Brave Browser and everything works fine, but i do not wish to use brave for my banking. So i am rather stuck!
It is easy to read many recent accounts of exactly the same problem safari/java occuring at exactly the same time as the 15 install to my fellow mac ies (is that the collective term?) .
Would appreciate help from those who know what is going on.
