Open the App Store, make sure that you are logged in with your Apple Id *

Click on your account (bottom left) and then click on Redeem Gift Card. Enter the codes you were given.

Important: the purchase will then be associated with the Apple if in question. That is what you will need to use for future updates to the applications or for downloading in other macs that you own or get to own in the future.
